Wade and Reagan Turner of Leland announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Laura Elizabeth Turner, to Reed Holder Downs, son of Ricky and Kay Downs of Boyle.
Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Patsy Turner and the late Bud Turner, and Ollie Fratesi and the late Mack Fratesi, all of Leland.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Frances Downs and the late Morris Downs of Linn, Sarah Williams of Cleveland, and the late Ned Holder of Ruleville.
The wedding ceremony is planned for 6 o’clock in the evening on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at First Baptist Church, Cleveland, with a reception following at the B.B King Museum in Indianola.
