Miss Jamie Wilson and Mr. Jay Whitfield, both of Southaven, together with their parents, happily announce their engagement. A fall wedding is planned.
Miss Wilson is the daughter of Jimbo and Lynn Wilson of Southaven. Grandparents of the bride-to-be are the late Gene and Dorothy Adams of West Memphis, Ark. and the late Jerry and Nettie Wilson of Southaven.
Jamie is a 2015 graduate of Southaven High School and a 2019 graduate of the University of Mississippi. She is a recruiting coordinator with FedEx in Memphis.
Mr. Whitfield is the son of Janet Stuart Whitfield of Fitler and Jim and Sonya Whitfield of Indianola. Grandparents of the groom-elect are the late Frank and Janie Stuart of Fitler and Cathy Whitfield and the late James Whitfield of Carrollton.
Jay is a 2015 graduate of Indianola Academy and a 2019 graduate of Delta State University. He is a construction foreman with Michael Hatcher & Associates in Olive Branch.
The couple will exchange vows in a private, outdoor ceremony on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Hollow Creek Plantation in Ecru.
