It is playoff time for the Indianola Academy Lady Colonels softball team.
Owning a 14-12 record, the IA squad will begin their 4A North Playoff action this Saturday at Senatobia Park.
Head Coach Scooter Prince’s team will initially take the field at 11:30 a.m. with North Delta School of Batesville serving as the competition.
A victory over the Green Wave would take the Lady Colonels into a 2:30 p.m. contest while an opening loss sends them back to the field at 1 p.m.
Competition for both of those games are to be decided by other action occurring in this tournament.
Should the Lady Colonels win two of their games on Saturday, they will return to Senatobia on Monday for the championship portion of the brackets.
