Services for Luther Norwood of Sunflower were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8, at Persimmon Grove Church, Sunflower. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Gardens, Indianola.
Mr. Norwood, 90, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Mar. 7, at Byas Funeral Home, Indianola, which is in charge of arrangements.
The Rev. Terry Cobbs will officiate at the services.
Mr. Norwood is survived by: six sons, Luther Norwood Jr., Arthur Norwood, Sim Norwood, Mackel Durham, Paul Norwood and Tony Norwood; three daughters, Linda Love, Sandra McClain and Tabatha Jones; 35 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
