Please be sure and “tune in” to the Mid-Delta Arts Association Special Holiday Channel. The live play from The Brindley will be held Dec. 11, 13 and 14.
“Christmas Hope,” the season’s premier holiday production directed by Valarie Morgan and Andy Daniels, is sure to get you ready for “the most wonderful time of the year.”
The musical selections and narrations are both secular and religious; the community choir is made up of children and adults. You will hear voices raised in notes of excitement and expectation for the special season. The prophet Micah best expresses our feelings when he said, “but as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior: my God will hear me.” Yes, God hears the prayers of His people; it matters not if they are in heartfelt sighs or in joyful songs.
The music of Christmas Hope is much like receiving a bouquet of joy tied in ribbons of praise. It is a gift to enjoy and a blessing to keep. Our prayer for you is that the God of hope will fill you with all joy…so that you may overflow with hope…(Romans 15:13).
