HEAR YE, HEAR YE, Mid-Delta Arts Association is pleased to be the bearer of glad tidings, to one and all, that we should be of good cheer because The Most Wonderful Time of the Year is upon us! It is a special time of giving thanks to Almighty God for our many blessings. Whether we are lighting the 9 candles of the menorah or the five candles of the Advent wreath, we are celebrating this season of light. We remember the miracle of the star shinning brightly over the manger in a little town called Bethlehem, or the miracle of the one cruse of oil that kept the eternal light burning in the temple of long ago. There’s no place like home for the holidays and if you want to be happy in a million ways, please join us as we gather at our home, The Brindley Theater, as we Herald in the Holidays on Friday, December 6, and Saturday, December 7, at 7 p.m. The show features a community-wide cavalcade of talent all under the direction of Dr. Lamondra Hamilton and Dr. Eddie Donahoe with Reverend Herron Wilson bringing some holiday magic as master of ceremonies. Patron tickets are on sale starting today, Friday, November 22nd, and general public tickets on sale beginning Saturday, November 30th.
