The Mississippi Delta Community College Trojans have put up a 3-10 overall record in pre-MACCC action.
The Trojans took on Southwest on Wednesday (not covered due to press time) and travel to East Central this Saturday for a 2 p.m. first pitch doubleheader.
They’ll be back home at the Jimmy Bellipanni Baseball Complex on Tuesday hosting Northwest.
The team has generated 58 runs over 13 games and are batting .238 as a team.
Freshmen Cristian Bridges, Junior Diaz, Liam Gonzalez and Briar Turner have played in all 13 games. Bridges is batting .333 with 12 hits and six RBIs while Diaz has 11 hits and nine RBIs with a .289 batting average. Gonzalez has nine hits and five RBIs with a .225 average and Turner has eight hits and two RBIs with a .186 average.
