The Mississippi Municipal League (MML) held its 94th Annual Conference from July 20 to July 24 at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum in Biloxi. During this conference, several classes were presented, sponsored by the Mississippi State University Center for Government and Community Development, allowing mayors, boards, city clerks, city managers and court clerks to become more knowledgeable with state laws, rules and regulations, plus guidelines.
The City of Moorhead had two employees graduate during this conference. Ward One Councilwoman Annette Washington-Fields received both Basic and Advanced designation as a Certified Municipal Officer (CMO), while Moorhead City Clerk Lakeshia D. Jones received the Master Municipal Clerk designation.
