Lt. Col. Nathaniel Rushing of Baltimore, Maryland, formerly of Indianola, was awarded the U.S. Army’s prestigious Legion of Merit in his recent retirement ceremony in the Pentagon. He is the son of Margaret and David Rushing of Indianola.
