To the left, a bullet hole in the glass of one of the panes that was not shattered at Selecta during an exchange of gunfire at the intersection of U.S. 82 and Catchings Avenue on Monday night. To the right, an apparent bullet hole dotted atop the “i” in Selecta’s We Finance sign attached to the dealership. Many other bullet holes can be seen on the property, which has sustained thousands of dollars in damages in 2025 alone, according to its owners, from gunfire at that intersection.
The glass storefront of Selecta Motors, Inc. at 100 Highway 82 was shattered once again when gunfire erupted Monday night across the street at the Catchings Avenue Double Quick store.
The store, which also houses Church’s Chicken, appears to have damage from bullets as well.
