NSMC workers wait as Christmas incentive checks put on hold

Employees at North Sunflower Medical Center who usually count on a year-end incentive check to help cover Christmas expenses will not receive that money on schedule this year after hospital officials paused the program during a state review of how the incentive payments have been handled, according to a letter from NSMC CEO Daniel Ceja.

Honoring sports legends who donned the Mississippi Delta Community College Red and Black will be the focus at an event on Saturday at J.T. Hall Coliseum. Doors open at 4:00 p.m. for social hour, dinner begins at 5:00 p.m. and the ceremony at 5:45 p.m.
