Lindsey Russell, pictured right, who has been a resident at the Sunflower County Transitional shelter for the Homeless for the past three months, stands with shelter office manager Fenecia Davis.
Lindsey Russell has never really had a permanent home.
A native of Cleveland, Russell is one of many clients trying to make a go of it at the newly-opened Sunflower County Transitional Shelter for the Homeless.
She is a recovering addict, much like her late mother, who for the most part raised her on the streets.
