Delta patients still in good hands

Fred’s Pharmacy in Indianola is closing.
Back in February, they had 586 stores in 15 states.
Today, they have 80.
Their leadership thought the Walgreen’s and Rite Aid merger was going to boost their bottom line with more stores.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Indianola Academy Colonels are the District 1AAA football champions.
As an added bonus, following last Friday’s 49-28 road decision over Bayou Academy of Cleveland, the 9-0, 3-0 Colonels also secured home field advantage when they begin their play in the State AAA playoffs set to begin Oct. 27.

New district for Colonels

It is difficult to fathom that in 42 days the 2023 high school football season will begin.
As for the Indianola Academy Colonels, the new season will commence with an August 18 home-field clash against North Delta School of Batesville.
Additionally, the Colonels will be finding themselves competing in a new district.
