The seniors of Delta Missions would like to thank each and every one for being so kind to us in this new year of 2024. All the holidays of last year up until the present time of this year, we put God first. He blessed us to be here and his angels. Second we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

Letter to the editor: Where’s your dog leash?

Many people in Indianola love to walk whether for health or just for enjoyment. Many walk in the parks here in town, at the track at the high school but some like me walk around their neighborhood. It has become unsafe to just walk in your own neighborhood. WHY? Dogs not on a leash attacking them.

As a concerned citizen of Sunflower County, I feel compelled to address the critical issues of the Sunflower County Farmland. I realize the addressed issue has caused much confusion, however that has never been the center focus. Since very few people have taken the time to ask me directly, there are others who shot arrows hoping they reach me.
