NATIONAL SUMMARY
Lake-effect snow showers and occasional snowfall in Maine
is likely to continue tomorrow, though should be less
intense than in prior days. Well to the south, a developing
system will bring rain, some heavy, to the Southeast
states, along with some thunderstorms along the Gulf Coast.
Farther north, rain may mix with snow in parts of Arkansas
and Oklahoma, with all snow from Missouri through southern
Minnesota. Most spots should see a couple inches of snow
accumulation, though locally higher amounts are possible.
Very cold conditions will remain in place in the northern
Plains, with a bit of snow possible in North Dakota and
northern Montana. Light snow is also expected in the
Cascades, with rain and snow showers at lower elevations.
