NATIONAL SUMMARY
A disturbance will move into the Appalachians and mid-
Atlantic tomorrow, bringing periods of rain to those areas
for much of the day. By late afternoon, locations from
northern Virginia northward may mix with or change to snow,
with minor accumulations possible in Pennsylvania. Farther
south, at least a few thunderstorms are possible along the
Gulf coast, and can produce heavy rain at times. Dry
conditions are expected in the Plains and most of the Desert
Southwest. Periods of rain will continue along the West
coast, and will be steadiest in Central and Northern
California. Farther inland, snow is likely in the Sierra and
the Great Basin.
