NATIONAL SUMMARY
While rain falls over the Ohio and Tennessee valleys
tomorrow, colder air in northern and central New England
will allow for a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain.
Showers and drizzle are likely over southern New England and
the northern mid-Atlantic. On the back side of the storm,
rain will mix with and change to snow over portions of
Michigan, Illinois, Missouri and northwestern Indiana. The
Southeast coast should remain dry, but thunderstorms with
flooding downpours, hail, damaging winds and even an
isolated tornado are expected to rumble through Tennessee,
eastern Mississippi, Alabama, the northwestern half of
Georgia and far western South Carolina. Another storm will
arrive in the Northwest with rain, wind and mountain snow in
Washington, western Oregon and northwestern California.
