The Nation's Weather for Sunday, February 5, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Some light snow will drift from northern Michigan across the
northern Northeast tomorrow. The Northeast will be much
warmer tomorrow than it will be today, with some areas
having temperatures 30 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit higher. A
storm pushing through the West will produce snow to the
higher elevations of Washington, Oregon and California, as
well as in Utah, Idaho, Nevada and western Wyoming. There
will likely be very heavy snow in the Sierra Nevada with
feet of snow expected in total. While snow will fall in the
higher elevations, much of the coast and the valleys will
just receive rain. There will be some showers, possibly with
rumbles of thunder, from Florida to North Carolina. Much of
the Northeast and Ohio Valley will be breezy, while windy
conditions are expected near Las Vegas.
