The Nation's Weather for Monday, April 24, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Tomorrow, rain showers will occur in parts of the
Northeast, with snow possible in parts of the interior
Northeast and westward through the Great Lakes region, as a
broad disturbance continues to spin over the area. The rest
of the Northeast and the mid-Atlantic should be largely
dry, with the Southeast also dry other than showers and
thunderstorms developing through South Florida. In the
center of the nation, the northern Plains should remain dry
but farther south, showers and thunderstorms will
overspread the central and southern Plains as a slow-moving
storm starts to take shape. Elsewhere, much of the West
Coast will be dry but farther inland, a storm system
continuing to press eastward will spread rain and snow
showers into more of the Intermountain West.
