NATIONAL SUMMARY
Severe thunderstorms will develop within two distinct parts
of the country tomorrow. In the western zone, thunderstorms
will build in the afternoon hours in parts of the High
Plains from Colorado into Montana, eventually shifting as
far east as central Nebraska and South Dakota through the
night. Storms from the Omaha area to around Memphis could
also turn severe, with hail, damaging winds and tornadoes
possible in both regions. Elsewhere, thunderstorms will
also affect Florida and areas near the mid-Atlantic coast.
Monsoon thunderstorms will once again pop up for many in
the Southwest and into portions of the Intermountain West.
A cold front will spark showers for mainly interior
sections of the Northeast, with extreme heat continuing in
the South. The Northwest and West Coast will be mostly dry.
