The Nation's Weather for Friday, February 11, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
An Arctic front diving southward will bring spotty snow
showers from South Dakota to Wisconsin tomorrow. A mix of
snow showers and rain showers is expected from Nebraska
through northern Ohio and western New York. Rain showers
will occur in warmer air farther south from northern
Missouri through southern Ohio. Ahead of the front, much of
the Central and Southeastern states will have a dry day with
temperatures above normal for the middle of February. The
West will also be dry, continuing the recent quiet stretch.
The most noteworthy weather in the West will be temperatures
more representative of late spring or early summer in
Southern California, where record-challenging heat will
continue to bake the region. However, the Santa Ana winds of
the past few days are expected to diminish.
