NATIONAL SUMMARY
As a storm system continues to shift from the northern
Rockies into the northern Plains tomorrow, periods of snow
will continue from western Montana and Idaho through
northern South Dakota and northwestern Minnesota. Some snow
will also break out in Utah and western Colorado, with rain
mixing in across eastern Colorado and northwestern Kansas.
Our next potent system will begin to develop across the
central Plains by tomorrow afternoon, bringing showers and
overnight thunderstorms to the area. Some storms can turn
locally severe from southern Missouri through central
Arkansas, with heavy downpours and hail being the main
threats. The East is expected to remain dry, with very warm
air for early December spreading along the East Coast.
