NATIONAL SUMMARY
Cold weather is forecast to sweep across the Plains tomorrow
behind rain, ice and gusty winds from the Great Lakes to
Kansas and Missouri. Severe thunderstorms are expected just
south across Oklahoma, northern Texas and western Arkansas
tomorrow night, bringing downpours, large hail and damaging
wind gusts. There could also be some snow across the Rocky
Mountains tomorrow, mixing with and becoming rain showers in
the southern Four Corners region. The West Coast will be
largely dry with warmth building in the valleys. Other than
some spotty showers in eastern Florida, the East Coast will
also be generally dry as the region warms and breezes blow
through the northern half. Severe activity will continue to
expand into Thursday.
