NATIONAL SUMMARY
A potent storm will begin to develop tomorrow, bringing an
area of snow from Nebraska into Kansas, with rain mixing in
across western Missouri. Rain will also spread from eastern
Oklahoma through Mississippi, with embedded thunderstorms
from the Texas coast through much of Louisiana. At the same
time, another storm and associated cold front will bring
sporadic snow showers to the Dakotas as steadier snow falls
during the afternoon in Minnesota. Snow showers will also
expand westward into the Intermountain West while sporadic
rain showers push ashore in Washington. The Northeast will
dry out, with partly to mostly sunny skies throughout the
region. It will be largely dry elsewhere in the country with
cool conditions continuing in the Southwest.
