The Nation's Weather for Thursday, January 11, 2024
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A rather active pattern will continue around the nation
tomorrow with yet another storm driving across the Northwest
bringing coastal showers to parts of Washington and Oregon,
heavy snow through the Cascades and additional snow for
parts of Montana and much of Idaho. Snow in association with
a separate disturbance will track across areas from
northeastern Arizona to western New Mexico, much of Colorado
and even into the central Plains as the day progresses,
bringing accumulating snow into Nebraska and Kansas. A cold
front diving across the northern tier of the nation will
lead to yet another zone of snow pushing from northern
Minnesota and Wisconsin into much of Michigan, with snow
along the front in interior parts of the Northeast. The
Southeast remains largely dry.
