NATIONAL SUMMARY
Lake-effect snow is set to continue across areas of western
New York and western Michigan tomorrow. The heaviest snow is
still expected to fall across parts of western and northern
New York, with Buffalo among the major cities affected. At
the same time, our next storm will continue to cross the
South with an area of snow stretching from northeastern
Texas through western Virginia. Freezing rain will cause
slippery conditions south of the snow for an area from
western Texas through northern Alabama. Bitterly cold air
will remain in place over the central United States and
northern portions of the South Central region. Another area
of light snow and flurries will impact areas from Wyoming
through Missouri. The Northwest will turn largely dry, while
chilly air remains.
