NATIONAL SUMMARY
During the day tomorrow, two separate zones of freezing rain
will emerge across the nation. In the Pacific Northwest,
slick spots will develop from north-central Oregon through
parts of western Washington. Snow will extend eastward into
the Cascades. The other area of icy spots will develop in
parts of the South, mainly from northeastern Arkansas into
southwestern Kentucky and southern Tennessee. Another zone
of snow will track across portions of the northern High
Plains, western Colorado and the north-central Plains
through the day. Farther east, snow will come to an end
across Illinois and parts of Missouri as the day progresses,
with snow picking up instead through interior sections of
the Northeast, including lake-effect snow along the Great
Lakes.
