NATIONAL SUMMARY
A significant storm will bring a large area of precipitation
from eastern Iowa through southern New England and south
into much of the South Central region tomorrow.
Precipitation will fall as rain from Texas through
Pennsylvania, with some embedded thunderstorms possible in
southern portions of this area. At the same time, snow and
perhaps some ice will bring slippery travel conditions from
eastern Iowa into Massachusetts. Showers will also dot
coastal areas of the Southeast, becoming more numerous in
Florida. Meanwhile, areas of the West will have continued
showers, with some turning wintry over high elevations of
the Intermountain West and into portions of Arizona and New
Mexico. At the same time, much of the northern Plains will
stay dry.
