NATIONAL SUMMARY
Rain will spread from the Northeast to the South Central
states as a cold front pushes through the regions tomorrow.
Ahead of this front, mild conditions will continue across
much of the East, and temperatures will trend 10-15 degrees
Fahrenheit above historical averages. A few thunderstorms
can develop along the Gulf Coast from western Texas to
Alabama. Severe thunderstorms can erupt across central Texas
at night, bringing flooding downpours, localized damaging
wind gusts, and even isolated tornadoes. Farther west, snow
will fall across portions of Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado
and Utah. Cooler conditions will return to the Midwest and
central Plains behind the cold front, although temperatures
will still be above historical averages. Much of the West
Coast, northern Rockies and Midwest will be dry.
