NATIONAL SUMMARY
A widespread storm will continue tracking from the central
United States into the East tomorrow. Periods of steady snow
will spread from the central Rocky Mountains to the Great
Lakes. A wintry mix will develop from southeastern Wisconsin
to portions of northern New England. Outbreaks of heavy rain
will soak the Ohio Valley and much of the Northeast, while
thunderstorms will erupt from the Gulf Coast to the
Tennessee Valley. Strong-to-severe storms can develop across
the Mississippi Valley through the overnight hours, bringing
the risk for damaging winds, large hail, flooding and
isolated tornadoes. A separate storm to the West will bring
mountain snow to the Southwest and showers to California.
