NATIONAL SUMMARY
A strong storm will bring a wide range of impacts to the
East Coast today. The northwestern side of the storm is
expected to see steady snow from extreme northeastern
Missouri through Michigan, some areas can mix with rain at
times. Rain and thunderstorms can impact much of the eastern
side of the storm, any thunderstorm can also become strong
to severe across portions of the southeast including
Kentucky and Tennessee. Storms can bring gusty winds in
addition to heavy downpours. Windy conditions will also
accompany this system, with the strongest gusts being seen
along southeastern states including North and South Carolina
as well as Virginia. Meanwhile, a weak low pressure system
will spread snow across portions of the Intermountain west
including portions of Colorado and northern New Mexico.
