NATIONAL SUMMARY
Severe thunderstorms will erupt in far southeastern
Louisiana, southeastern Mississippi, much of Alabama,
southwestern Georgia and the Florida Panhandle tomorrow.
Hail, intense rainfall, damaging wind gusts and even
isolated tornadoes will all be possible. In the colder air,
a thin strip of snow is expected from eastern Iowa up
through south-central and eastern Wisconsin. Temperatures at
or above freezing should largely restrict accumulation to
non-paved surfaces. A mix of rain and snow will fall on the
periphery from northeastern Kansas through central Wisconsin
and northern Lower Michigan. Rain with embedded
thunderstorms will soak a zone from Missouri and Illinois
eastward to Ohio and southward to northern Georgia. Rain and
higher-elevation snow will affect the Northwest.
