NATIONAL SUMMARY
Showers and thunderstorms, some heavy, will rumble across
Florida, Georgia and South Carolina tomorrow. In the
afternoon and overnight hours, heavy downpours can lead to
flash flooding, especially in low-lying areas. A narrow band
of showers will extend from Maine southwestward to
Louisiana. In the Southeast, there can be a few rumbles of
thunder in any shower. Meanwhile, a storm will spread snow
to the central and southern Rockies. Snow mixed with rain
can fall in the higher elevations of Arizona and New Mexico,
particularly above 6,500 feet. Elsewhere in the Rockies,
dry, yet breezy and cold weather is expected. In the
Northeast, it will be unseasonably warm and temperatures
will be 10 to 15 degrees Fahrenheit above average. Some
places will break record-high temperatures.
