NATIONAL SUMMARY
Along the West Coast tomorrow, a storm will bring periods
of rain. Showers can make it as far south as Los Angeles.
Above 6,500 feet in the Sierras, especially south of
Interstate 80, snow can accumulate rapidly leading to
reduced visibility and slippery roads. A little snow in the
afternoon can accumulate in the Colorado Rockies. Rain will
cover much of the Ohio River Valley and Great Lakes
regions. Showers can be around the Mississippi River Valley
and sneak into the Appalachians as well. Across northern
Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin snow showers are
expected. Across much of the Plains it will be dry, but
noticeably cooler and breezy. The South will largely be
dry, warm and pleasant. The Northeast will also be largely
dry and partly to mostly sunny.
