NATIONAL SUMMARY
Lake-effect snow will continue for the Great Lakes region
tomorrow. The flow will shift southwesterly, bringing
steadier, heavy bands of snow north into the Southtowns of
Buffalo and Watertown, New York. Difficult travel on
Interstate 90 between Cleveland and Buffalo and I-81 from
Syracuse to Watertown is still expected with slippery roads
and reduced visibility. Heavy lake-effect snow is expected
in northwestern Michigan and the eastern Upper Peninsula as
well. The country will largely be dry with the expection of
snow flurries elsehwere throughout the Great Lakes, western
Pennsylvania, much of Ohio and West Virginia. Bitterly cold
air will linger in the Plains into the East. Much of the
Southeast can expect subfreezing morning low temperatures,
including some of the Florida Panhandle.
