The Nation's Weather for Wednesday, March 23, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A wide-reaching storm is forecast to continue producing
snow, rain and severe thunderstorms across the East
tomorrow, with all facets of severe weather, from isolated
tornadoes and hail, to flash flooding and high winds,
possible along the Southeast coast. Rain will mainly focus
from the Midwest to the mid-Atlantic, as snow mixes in
farther north across the Upper Midwest, and showers and
thunderstorms could pepper the Ohio Valley. Other than some
periods of light rain along the Pacific Northwest, elsewhere
will be generally dry as the Southwest warms to near-record
levels and the Plains become quite windy behind the storm.
The interior Northwest is expected to be dry and mild.
