NATIONAL SUMMARY
Tomorrow, much of the country will be dry. The exception
being western Oregon, Washington and coastal Northern
California as showers come ashore. There can also be a few
spotty afternoon showers along the eastern coast of Florida.
An Arctic air mass will continue to inject the coldest air
of the season into the Northeast. The Midwest will still be
cold, but not as cold. High temperatures across the interior
Northeast will be in the 20s and teens. The Plains will
largely be mild with highs in the 50s and 60s and breezy.
The Southwest will be pleasant with highs mainly in the 60s
and 70s; they can be in the 50s in the higher terrain. The
Southeast is anticipated to be mainly sunny and cooler with
highs in the 40s and 50s. The Gulf Coast will largely be in
the 60s and South Florida in the low 80s.
