NATIONAL SUMMARY
There may be severe thunderstorms from Houston across the
Gulf Coast states to the Florida Panhandle tomorrow. These
storms can bring flooding downpours, hail, localized
damaging winds and isolated tornadoes, which can potentially
continue into the night. Rain can stretch across the
interior Southeast and Appalachians, including some of the
North Carolina and Virginia piedmonts. A little rain may
fall in the Great Lakes earlier in the day. The Northwest
can have periods of rain. Snow can fall in the Cascades and
Rockies of Idaho, western Montana, northern Utah, western
Wyoming and Colorado. Much of the Plains will be mild. The
Gulf Coast, Southeast and Ohio River Valley will be warm for
the time of year. There can be some early fog, some
freezing, in northeastern Pennsylvania.
