The Nation's Weather for Friday, March 25, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Chillier air moving into the Great Lakes will be accompanied
by spotty showers tomorrow. Rain can extend along the
Appalachians as far south as North Carolina. The air will be
cold enough for snowflakes to mix in with rain in much of
Wisconsin, the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan and
central Minnesota. Temperatures struggling to reach freezing
will allow precipitation to fall in the form of snow in
northern Minnesota, where an inch or two may accumulate.
Much of the rest of the nation will be quiet, following the
stormy stretch across the South in recent days. The
drought-stricken Southwest will also be dry. Temperatures
well above normal are expected to continue, and more records
are likely to be challenged in the region through Saturday.
