NATIONAL SUMMARY
A winter storm will affect the southern Central states
tomorrow. Snow can fall from eastern New Mexico through the
Texas Panhandle into Oklahoma. A corridor of snow, sleet and
rain may occur just north of Austin into Dallas-Fort Worth,
southern Arkansas and northern Louisiana. There may also be
a small window where freezing rain can occur, leading to
slippery travel on untreated roads and sidewalks. A little
snow can also fall from the Front Range of Colorado into the
northern Great Plains. Plain rain is expected from South
Texas into Austin, Houston and most of Louisiana. Otherwise,
much of the country will be dry with the exception of some
lake-effect snow showers tapering off in upstate New York
and northwestern Pennsylvania.
