NATIONAL SUMMARY
Along the West coast, an atmospheric river will persist
tomorrow. There will be rain and snow from San Francisco to
Seattle. In Northern California, heavy rain can lead to
flooding, especially in poor drainage areas. There can be
snowmelt in the Sierra Nevada. To the north, snow across the
Cascades can mix in across the lower elevations. Meanwhile,
a burst of snow will move through the northern Great Lakes
states and the Northeast. Outside of snow, some mixing with
rain, in the northern Rockies, the rest of the nation can
expect dry weather. For the Plains and Southeast, warmer
weather is on the way with temperatures 10-20 degrees
Fahrenheit above the historical average and sunny skies.
Across the northern Plains, high elevations of the Rockies
and along the East coast, it can be breezy at times.
