NATIONAL SUMMARY
An atmospheric river will continue to drench parts of the
West coast tomorrow. In northern California, heavy rain can
bring flooding especially in poor drainage areas. In the
northern Sierra Nevada, heavy mountain snow can cause
slippery travel. To the north snow and rain showers will
extend through Oregon and Washington. In northern New
England, there can be a bit of lingering snow early. Aside
from a few showers along the Atlantic coast of Florida, the
rest of the nation is forecast to be dry. Across the
southern tier of the country it will be quite warm and
partly to mostly sunny. In the desert Southwest,
temperatures can challenge records with daily highs nearing
80 degrees Fahrenheit. There will be a noticeable breezy in
the Northeast, Great Lakes, Rockies and northern Plains.
