_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
In the West, an atmospheric river will continue to bring
rain and mountain snow tomorrow. The heaviest rain is
forecast to persist over Northern California. Significant
rainfall can lead to flooding, power outages and fallen
trees across the area. Meanwhile, steady snow will extend
from the Sierra Nevada through Oregon and Idaho to western
Montana. In western Washington and Oregon a couple rain or
snow showers will dot the area. There can be a bit of light
snow in North Dakota and around the northern Great Lakes.
Outside of a bit of drizzle in the southern Mississippi
Valley, the rest of the nation will be dry. Warm conditions
will linger across the Southeast as cooler air looms from
the Ohio Valley. In the Northeast it will be cloudy and a
gusty breeze will usher in a cooler air mass by the evening.
