NATIONAL SUMMARY
A large storm will be departing in the East tomorrow. Some
rain with thunder can taper off in the Ohio River Valley
into the central Appalachians, while freezing rain can end
in southern Michigan. Freezing rain and sleet can transition
to some rain in the afternoon in portions of the Northeast.
In New England, snow in the morning is expected to
transition to a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain in the
afternoon. The Green and White Mountains as well as much of
Maine are expected to remain all snow. The mid-Atlantic
coast is expected to be mainly rain. In the West, periods of
rain can fall across much of the California coast, with even
a little rain expected for Los Angeles. There can be periods
of snow in the Klamath Mountains in Northern California and
the Sierra Nevada, which can be heavy in the afternoon.
