The Nation's Weather for Saturday, February 8, 2025
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A few snow showers, mixed with rain along the coast, can
occur in the Pacific Northwest tomorrow. Meanwhile, a large
storm will traverse through the Ohio Valley. Snow is
expected from Minnesota to Pennsylvania, and just to the
south there will be a strip of ice. Snow and ice will lead
to rapidly deteriorating travel conditions since roads and
sidewalks can be slippery. Periods of rain with thunder will
occur across the Ohio Valley. Outside of spotty showers in
the Tennessee Valley, the rest of the nation will be dry.
Cooler air will move in from Texas to Tennessee, and high
temperatures will be noticeably lower. In contrast, it will
remain hot and humid along the Gulf coast. High temperatures
will approach daily records. A gusty breeze will usher in
cooler air in the Plains.
