NATIONAL SUMMARY
The threat for severe weather will move east to southern New
York to North Carolina tomorrow. Damaging winds, hail,
flooding and isolated tornadoes will all be possible.
Farther south, heavy rain and damaging winds will be the
primary threat with thunderstorms in central and southern
Georgia and the Panhandle of Florida. In the colder air, a
mix of rain showers and snow showers is expected from
northeastern Missouri through eastern Iowa, northwestern
Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Several inches of snow is
forecast to accumulate even farther to the north in
northeastern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Rain and snow showers will dot the Rocky Mountains with a
separate area in Washington state. A breezy to windy day is
expected throughout the Great Lakes and Northeast.
