NATIONAL SUMMARY
Tomorrow, there can be an afternoon thunderstorm from
central South and North Carolina into southeastern Virginia.
Across much of the East there can be showers. From southern
Wisconsin and Michigan into upstate New York and northern
New England some snowflakes can mix in, while there can be
periodic rain at the Maine coast. The Upper Peninsula of
Michigan and northern Michigan can expect snow showers.
There may be a spotty shower in the South, but much of the
nation will be dry. In the Southwest, it can be warm and
temperatures can be anywhere from 5-15 degrees Fahrenheit
above historical averages. Some record highs, such as in
Phoenix, can be challenged. The Plains can be mild with high
temperatures generally in the 50s and 60s. Across the Great
Lakes and Ohio River Valley there can also be a breeze.
