NATIONAL SUMMARY
An Arctic front will push into the northern Plains, northern
Minnesota and Wisconsin tomorrow. Temperatures should fall
throughout the day, especially in the afternoon. There can
be some spotty rain or snow showers in the afternoon from
eastern South Dakota to central Minnesota into northern
Wisconsin, with flurries to the north. The storm associated
with this can spread snow from the Arrowhead of Minnesota to
northern Michigan and reach western New York by evening. The
northern Plains to the Great Lakes can also be very windy
with winds of 15 to 25 mph and gusts up to 55 mph. Areas
north of the Ohio River can also have gusts of generally 30
to 40 mph and possibly up to 50 mph. Otherwise, there can be
some snow in the Green and White mountains and into northern
Maine that will end early.
