The Nation's Weather for Friday, March 21, 2025
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Cooler conditions are expected across the Southeast
tomorrow, with temperatures near or below the historical
average; however, there will be plenty of sunshine. It will
also be dry with a mix of sun and clouds across the
Southwest and much of the Plains, but a few spotty showers
are forecast to quickly traverse across South Dakota and
Iowa. Showers will expand into the Ohio Valley along with
some snow over the Great Lakes region during the night. It
will also be rather windy in the Plains and with ongoing
dry conditions in western Texas, gusty winds will elevate
the risk for wildfires to spread. Elsewhere, rain is
forecast to dampen the Pacific Northwest coast, which will
spread to the northern Rockies and mix with snow over the
mountainous terrain.
