NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm departing from the New England coastline will bring
occasional rain and snow showers to portions of Maine
tomorrow. Otherwise, much of the Northeast can expect dry
and chilly weather. Abundant sunshine will spread across
parts of Alabama, Georgia and the Carolinas. There can be a
shower and an isolated thunderstorm in South Florida. A
slow-moving storm will emerge from the central Rockies and
produce rounds of thunderstorms from Nebraska to Texas, and
there will be an uptick in winds. Chilly showers will dampen
portions of the Midwestern states. Widespread showers will
push across the Northwest with periods of snow developing in
the higher terrain. Dry weather will prevail across Central
and Southern California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona and
New Mexico.
